That depends on your area and what you are looking to do. Restaurants and bars are always hiring if you need to make some quick cash while you search. Get your resume checked out there are so many resumes coming in daily especially now that the web has been introduced to the job world, that employers look for certain things and phrases. Start sending it everywhere, jobs you don't like, jobs you think won't hire you, jobs that are asking for more qualified individuals. It never hurts to give them a copy. If you need to commute 30 miles or so, do it. I drive aprox an 1hr to work every day. If you have some kind of skill it may take a while but you'll get there.

First you should go to a resume clinic (sort of place) and have your resume brushed up. I know that it's much easier to find a job through a job placement agency than on your own b/c you actually have much more chances meeting prospective employers. You get to go to interviews all the time so even if you don't get the first few jobs you go for, that's still some pretty good experience for you.

Well, you have to keep looking. If you're using a resume, have someone look at it and see if there are changes that could be made to make it stand out. Widen your search to more types of jobs that you may be interested in. I don't know what kind of jobs you're looking for, or how you're doing it, so that's all I can really tell you. Good luck! It took me 6 months or more to start getting inquiries when I was looking for a post-college graduation job.

Stop surfing the net, and learn a language in your spare time. Your public library will have tapes or CDs you can borrow for free, and if you have some Spanish or French it will help in your job search. By all means, don't give up!! keep looking, but at least you will get new skills while you search.

I would look for soemthing very entry level, even if it pays crappily, and try to get some experience. If you do a good job, you'll get promoted. If not, at least you will have some experience that might help you to get a job at another company.
