Because, people are raised and brainwashed into thinking that way, it all originates from stupidity. If people really think basic, kindergarten ideas, they would know that the only reason the color of our skin is different is because of the climates we all lived in. Africans had darker skin because of more melanin, to avoid skin cancer from the sun, and white people live in colder climates. I'm not really prejudice. I'm not afraid to be friends with different people. If I am, and not aware of it, it must stem from something I saw on television or something. I'm probably kind of prejudice against people who look like they are from Iraq because of the whole Sep. 11th thing... Hope this answers your question...

I am a teacher and I hate it when people use poor spelling. "U" is a letter, not the word you. When you mean to say you, just type it - it's only 2 extra letters. You add a "yo" before the "u". And "ur" is a sound you make when you don't know something, as in "Ur, I don't know." If you want to contract the words "you" and "are", you type "you're". It's pretty simple. If people would follow these simple steps of grammar, rather than writing everything like it's a text message, there would be a lot less hate in this world.

I'm prejudiced against some Chaldeans because it seems like the ones i've come across are all loud and obnoxious and arrogant and rude. They treat women as second class citizens and when they get into an argument, they like to jump people.
I'm also prejudiced against some black guys that dress hip hop because I think they're going to be rude or get made if I don't give them my number.
I'm prejudiced against black females because a lot of them are envious and i've had a hard time with them in the past.
I'm prejudiced against rich people because I think they think they're better that me.
Pretty much, I'm prejudiced against everyone due to stereotypes. But once I get to know them individually, I find that not everyone fits the mold.

Prejudice is a learned disease. Most people get it from their parents or other family members. Unfortunately, some people also get it in church.
Some groups in society encourage and accelerate these beliefs. Others try to work against them.
You have to be taught stereotypes and who to hate. If you watch really young children interact, it's beautiful to see. Everyone is equal.

Im not prejudice against any races. I live in Ca where there are so many cultures. I think its kind of cool to learn about different people. What I am prejudge against is people that judge people without even knowing them or their story.

Everyone seems to have a problem with other peoples cultures. Racist white people are plentiful but ur average black comedian makes jokes about cracker *** crackers. If rednecks did this the NAACP would be on their butts quickly.

It's a problem.
We have to put paople down, even dislike them, if we wish to acknowlege that we are "superior". (to ourselves, or to members of the the public).
If we subconsciously, feeling inferior we will behave in a biased way.
Ignore these fools unless and untill they break the law then it is time to take action. There are legal steps and social tactics that can be used. Alone or, better still, with others.
Good luck.

thats how they were raised, they were raised to think they were better than certin people. its like you see a bum on the street and your parents taught you not to look at him or talk to him. its basicly like that. rich kids were taught like tat to hate people who are average. but blacks hate red necks because of the way they treated us befor civil rights were invented.
