i highly doubt it. the simpsons have gone on for a long time and like all other shows it will get old. i am a big fan of the simpsons and watch alot of their shows. unfortunately not all people enjoy the simpsons anymore. i think in the next couple of years the simpsons will die out. i will be sad and happy because they ahve lived a very long tv life. maybe they will come back in the far future and make a movie. but i doubt a simsons movie will be here anytime soon if ever

I'm surprised there isn't a Simpsons movie yet. There has been a South Park movie, a Family Guy movie, and even a Recess movie, so why not the most popular cartoon of all? Sheesh!

D'oh! What a terrible thought. The Simpsons has have been given to maintain on keeping on. it quite is a persevering with challenge, whilst watching The Simpsons, to seize all of the humorous little products of wit...they flow so rapid and are so audacious. long stay The Simpsons!

I dont think they plan on making a movie. If they were planning on a movie I think that the best time to have produced it would have been at the height of all their glory. I do know for a fact that they plan on making simson episodes for as long as they find things to make fun of. They are making the boxed dvd sets for every season...so I bet they are making a killing out of that. I would say that the simpsons will continue on for at least a couple of years.

I heard they will be on til next year, i love the simpsons we have a few of the seasons on dvd, we are working on having all of them...Even if they are not new episodes the Simpsons will be on TV forever. I have just about every episode memorized, but i still love to watch.

There is a Simpson's movie already slated for 2007. In my opinion, they have gone on far too long than they should have.

They ARE making a simpsons movie. i don't know how long they will keep making the episodes though but they are getting kind of bad so it might not last. I hope not though

The movie is announced on the universal or WB movies page and is set to be out next summer, may-ish.As for the show it will last as long as new ideas come and people keep watching it.
