Because of the millions of nerve endings that would have to be re-attached to the spinal cord.
They did a brain transplant on a monkey in the mid 90's, it lived for a week. But that proved that it is possible.
But even though it may be (how ever remotely) possible, doesn't mean we should do it, with say, the atom bomb and human cloning.

A brain transplant has never been attempted. I don't want to say it would be impossible, but it would be extremely difficult because of all of the nerve connections that would have to be made. Certianly it is impossible with today's technology. But for the future? Who knows. Undoubtedly, there would be ethical issues with transplanting a brain to another human. Would they retain the personality they had or would they become the donor?

Well if they were possible I know for a fact that the male brain would be 10 times as expensive as the female brain cause it's never been used!!

In theory, it IS possible. But do you really want to do that? Can you imagine the black market demand there would be for healthy young bodies for some of these sickos who want to live forever and don't care that maybe it's someone else's turn?
That would open a huge can of ethical worms.
