I joined a brand new private gym - and signed up for a prepaid 6 month membership. Those 6 months have passed, and the gym has not opened. I'm planning on suing for my money back because the gym claims they don't give refunds. Does anyone agree that this is a huge breach of contract? And getting my money back will be easy?

Read your agreement if anywhere in their it backs their statement your dead. However if yo paid for something with promise to recieve and you did not then they cannot legally keep your money.

Was the gym open when you signed up? If not, when did they say they would be open? I don't suppose you have any of this in writing? Your best bet is probably going to be Small Claims Court in your State...and NO, it will not be easy, however, it may prove to be one of the cheapest lessons in life you'll ever get.

My month-to-month grew to become into to be taken out of my financial enterprise account. It wasnt till a 300 and sixty 5 days later i found out they have been taking no longer purely my month-to-month value, yet that of my acquaintances club value from MY ACCOUNT!

Sure I agree it's a ripoff. Better read your contract very thoroughly, cause I doubt it'll be easy to get your money.
