many of the customs auto paints are very well suited for that......esp.... House of Kolor, Createx AutoAir, Or even Dupont.....that main thing is to give to a few extra coats of clearcoat ( urathane!) the best for the money would be Kosmic clear from House of Kolor....you can find alot of what your looking for at www.houseofkolor.com

marine paint go to a marina and purchase the paint there. are you going to dry dock the boat or paint in the water?
