Moderate it. If you're too trusting, you become a mark, perfect for con artists, televangelists, and politicians. If you're not trusting enough, you become so paranoid that when someone tells you something that really is true, you won't believe them in a time when you really should. The thing is, if it sounds too good or bad to be true, and the track reckord of the person isn't good, then don't believe them.

Yes, you should believe everything that you hear is in fact sound waves that travel through your inner ear and is then relayed to your brain where the signals are then interpreted into sounds that are most likely stored in our brain's memory.

they definitely could be lying . And I'm sure you know that you shouldn't always believe what you hear.
A good sign someone is lying is when they blush or their eyes look a little wetter than usual.
