Ready to retire (within a year)! Have saved and invested for 30 yrs. Need a retirement plan. Would like to prepare my own. Financial planners are too expensive!! Should be a do-it-yourself guide out there somewhere.

Check to see if there is a Primerica Financial Services office in your area. They will help you do your retirement planning for free. They are owned by Citigroup and have access to some of the best retirement resources and products in the industry. They are far and away the best resource for retirement planning without having to pay someone thousands to work with you.

Browse at your local bookstore under Personal Finance, or search for Retirement Planning at your library. There are many books out there.

i don't know how well they would help,
but the local office supply store has
those types of kits for $20 and a
quick reference guide you can purchase
also $5. Why not try suze orman books
or website, she is a financial whiz and
very helpful in so many aspects.
www.suzeorman.com, you can purchase
the video / kits from her and I would trust
her in a heartbeat.
