I have a friend who is pregnant (so am I) - she doesn't know out of 2 fellas who the father is and doesn't want either of them to know or think they're the father until she knows. Can she do some sort of test that the father doesn't have to be invovled in? Eg.In the movies (serious query) they show the testing of DNA from a strand of hair? How can she get around this with causing trouble or her family finding out about it too - these guys have big mouths.

But how can she test the fathers DNA without him knowing? Do you know what I mean, she doesn't want him to know he's being tested....

I think she needs to grow up and face the music...she will have to tell the guys and wait til baby is born to find out who really is the father. It is illegal to test someone without their consent. there are papers and forms that need to be filled out too.
the cheaper way to go would be to go on Maury!!! LOL
He does this kind of thing all the time!!

Hey, i really hate to say this, but your friend should never have been having unprotected sex with two guys in the first place, so just so she knows this is her fault! And on the helping matter, i suppose they could do a DNA test from hair or get saliva from somewhere the guys have been drooling on. Personally i think she will have to tell them!!!!!! they have a right to know they may or may not be a father!!!!! think how they would feel after the baby was born and then find out that she has been conspiring when they wonder why she didnt say im pregnant want something to do with your childs birth!! really and seriously tell her to get this sorted and quick or she will end up in a worse situation.

Would she want a part of herself to be involved in a DNA test that she had no Ideal that was happening? These men have rights to their privacy. They have the right to say yes or no. If it is one or the others they both have a right to be involved in the decisions pertaining to his child until it is born. As far as I'm concerned both men are fathers until proven other wise. What is she going to tell the guys when she starts getting pumped up like a balloon. Do you really think men are that stupid... If she wants a law suit on her butt that would be the thing for her to do... Only the courts can make a man do a DNA test... It has to be ordered unless the father AGREES to do it on his own accord...
I really think that if she stays on the path that she is on this DNA thing is going to blow up in her face...
the problem is that she don't want either of the men involved to know that she was screwing around with the other... that is why she wants to do it this way..
Also I believe she knows exactly how the father of this baby is... now she needs to stand up and do the right thing....Tell both the men and let them decide about how they want to deal with this.

She may luck out with blood typing. Say she has O+, guy #1 has B-, and guy #2 has A+... if the baby has O+ it's inconclusive, but if the baby has B- or A+, it's a match. Other than that, a lab will want saliva to do a DNA test.

Yes, DNA tests are possible but you DO need to tell an adult before you do that. You need parent signatures and such to get DNA tests done.

the best and most accurate is blood she needs to grow up and tell them both . she cant do dna testing without their consent.its not legal. ask a lawyer. shes gonna need one

take a can he has been drinking from and use that or do the hair thing. u can probably by a kit off the internet or call one those DNA places to do it. but it will probably cost u!
