the material is expensive and can last for a long time. Plus it is STYLISH! If you get a cheap polo from walmart then it will not last nearly as long as a lacoste polo. Plus just the little logo on the chest says it all girl!

Well your prctically buying the name of the polo. My dad owns a lot of lacoste stuff and it's really expensive. But they are really nice and the materials are god. I suggest if you can afford to buy one buy lacoste because it's long-lasting and if you can't try going to thrift shops and I'm sure you'll find one...... it's expensive........ Just put it this way your just paying for the name........... Anyways lacoste is AWESOME!! One of my fav. designers!!!

Pretty much name, Ralph Lauren offers nice polos at almost half the price with a good name. Old Navy does also offer some cheap polos, but I haven't had good luck with their clothes...

i hear ya. I am absolutly addicted to lacoste, and its basically eating up all my $$! lol well its a designer, u pay more 4 an important name!

I believe it's the origin that's it from. If you buy an imitation Lacoste shirt from Hong Kong, it's much cheaper. I bought a dozen of them for my dad and brother for $3 each and you can't even tell that it's not real. Unfortunately, due to the size of the population, they don't offer bigger sizes that actually fit an average American.

You are paying mainly for the name, you can find the same quality shirts at Old Navy for a fraction of the price.

i dont think its because of the material, but i think its the fact that lacost has an alligator and its basically justa desginer brand. (lacosdt is my favorite btw)
