Don't get me wrong, I wish that all 50 states would ban same-sex marriages. No, I guess more than that I wish we would ban public display of affection (PDA). I do not want my kids to think that homosexuality is okay by having it "in their face."
But in order to ban gay PDA, it would have to be a ban on PDA across the board.

I don't believe we should stand to ban gay marriages. The problem is, they're expecting a God-founded country to reward them for doing something most of the country does not agree with. But If you want to make a Christian case out of it, Jesus never discussed homosexuality, except to say that people were left to their perversions after God gave them over to a probate mind. That was the only time it was ever mentioned by him. But at the time, Rome was full of men who engaged in sexual pleasure with young boys.
My point is, I don't think most Christians would deny anyone the right to live as they please. They just won't reward them with tax benefits. I do think homosexual couples ought to be able to see each other in the hospital though.
Being that most people think that GA is a gay-bashing state, you might expect that. But it's not really like that. You just hear the backwards haters standing on their soap-boxes. It stands out alot more than the majority of us who are simply quiet about it.

Georgia is pretty liberal for a southern state, ever been to atlanta?, Athens? Hell even Augusta is. Why do you care if gays get married, how is it affecting your life? You cannot stop your kids frombeing gay if they are, no matter what you do...

okay...about that question of mine you answered earliear...(why is gay marriage illlegal?) im not sayin that if she loves her teacher they should have sex! omg! she is only 13...i wouldnt reccomend her having sex with her teacher thats 32.
