Correct me if I'm wrong, but homosexuals claim that love is love to whomever they wish regardless of sex. Given this, why do they only date people of the same sex? You might argue that you prefer a woman's or man's personality types, but that's invalid because they are a lot of feminine guys out there and macho females. Also, you never hear of homosexual couples saving themselves for marriage. This leads me to believe that it really is the sex that is prefered.
There are no insults here, so I expect none in return.

I'm gay and I'm waiting for that special one so don't tell me it's not about love. Sure, some gays are whores but we can say the same about a lot of straight girls and some guys too!

Homosexuality has been around since the beginning. Some people prefer partners of the same sex; the same way others prefer partners of a different sex. It is just a personal choice that a person makes; and for your information in most of the world same sex marriage is outlawed. It's kind of hard for someone to save themselves for marriage when they aren't allowed to get married.

So how many hetrosexuals do you know that are saving themselves for marriage. Yeah there are some but there are also some homosexuals that are also saving themselves for marriage, or that special someone. With this culture infiltrated with sex I don't think it's fair to say that homosexuality is really about sex. Our culture is about sex. You should really sit down and talk with a committed couple. It just might change your mind.

First of all, even if that were so, how would that be different from heterosexual couples?
Second of all, many homosexuals certainly do NOT claim that love is love regardless of gender...they love their own gender just as heterosexuals love the opposite. And some homosexuals DO save themselves for marriage, too. You've made some assumptions that just aren't true.

I definitely believe that it is about LOVE. You cannot help it if you are attracted to someone of the same sex. If you have spent any time with a homosexual couple that has a good relationship, you should be able to see that it is no different than a hetero relationship.

Homosexuality is just like heterosexuality in that it is based on genetic biological factors. The expression of either kind of sexual orientation is cultural, which is why it seems like gays people act or dress the same.

Because they are attracted to people of the same sex. And, since same-sex marriage is illegal, they can't save themselves for marriage because they aren't allowed to get married.

It's about the sex. Not the act of sex, but just about the "sex" (or gender) in all its aspects--personality, physiology, etc. True, love knows no bounds... but sex determines who you fall for.
(I'm gay, if it matters.)
