The ans above are all right.. get a anti-virus software.. Never turn on a computer without anti-virus, scan all e-mails and down loads..Follow them rules and you may never need to ask that question again GOOD LUCK ROB

You can install antivirus software from any source and can get rid of virus..

Most used are :Pccillng, Norton Antivirus and OThers.

But the best technique to defend virus is just don't open any email/exe files from unknown sources..

Download spyware and scan your computer. Then it'll find the exact virus and attempt to delete it.

Try Ad-Aware, Spybot, Spyware Blaster, and AVG.

Try System Restore to a date when you are sure the trojan was not there

Avast (avast.com) find two viruses on my computer that AVG did not. Avast is also free of charge.

I 2nd Spybot.. The two used together is great. I also use lavasoft adaware, but not nearly as much as spybot.

All you need to so is scan your computer with a anti spy-ware/virus program like Ad-adware (http://lavasoft.com/) or spybot search and destroy (http://www.safer-networking.org/en/spybotsd/index.html) and if they don't catch anything Avast (http://avast.com/) these are all free also.

Pick up a free copy of Spybot Search & Destroy
http://www.safer-networking.org/
and run it. Do what it tells you to. If that doesn't work, good luck, you'll need it.
