I don't think so. He's violent on the pitch, his temper is atrocious, he spits, he swears, he looks like a potato... Need i say more?

He can play some wicked footy though.

And he does do a bit of charity work. This is important, i think.

But then again, i donate 10% of my miniscule income to charity. Does that make ME a good role model? No. It makes me an idiot because i give to 3 charities and i'm unemployed.

*grumble*

Wayne Rooney reminds me of Dudley Dursley, Harry Potter's bully cousin, a spoiled brat through and through. His parent didn't spank him enough when he was younger!!!

I just don't understand why the English think the world of him? He shamed his country by his arrogance and hot temper.

But don't take me wrong, I am NOT for that cry-baby-cheeky-diving Ronaldo.

Yes if you are talking about a role model for pampered thugs.Rooney is the perfect model for an overrated spoilt child. You would never guess that he is a proffessional footballer by the way he acts.

He's thug, he really should admit he kicked that poor bloke in the balls and probably enjoyed it. He has the IQ of a slug, and isn't much prettier than one.
So no, not a good role model at all.
