For what you would spend on proactiv, you would be far better off paying to see a dermatologist and finding out what exactly is up with your own skin and what is the best solution for you. Spend your money wisely, and best of luck!

I tried it many years ago when I was a teen and it was horrible - my skin had a terrible reaction to it, I ended up breaking out even worse and my skin was very red and irritated. However, I just tried it again recently to see if anything had changed and it's great - the couple breakouts I do get have been cleared up and avoided - so now it's working just great.

Worked for awhile for me but then I started breaking out and didn't stop until I had been off proactiv for several months. I don't recommend it, especially if you have sensitive skin - it's really harsh. Also since I washed my face right before bed it bleached my pillowcases - scary...

I used the store brand for it and it cleared my face up..... so I'm sure the name brand would work good too.......... but everyone's metoblisim is different.... some people it might work great for and for others it might make their skin worse if there's something in it they are sensitive to.
