What is there to do near Oneonta, NY, especially outdoors?

I'm traveling to Oneonta in the near future and would like to find something fun to do for a couple of days. What should I do?

I believe Oneonta is smack dab in between both the Adirondacks and the Catskill Mountains. Have fun!

Have you ever been to Plattekill Mountain? www.plattekill.com We just did a Rise & Shine beginner mountain biking package - so much fun! We're going back for their concerts!
