Need more information to give proper speculation. Too many possible factors. Age, birth control, sexual activity, stress, etc. If you are young and just starting this "routine" then it can vary from 3-4 days to more than a week. If you have been having cycles for a while and this is a dramatic change from the norm then you should consult your physician, especially if using the pill or other contraceptives as they can alter the routine in slight to dramatic ways and you may need to switch to something else.

Do not freak out. Talk to a parent or a doctor. I know someone whose period lasts 3 weeks and then she dont have one for a few months. That doesnt mean that will happen to you, everyones period is different. It might just be that this is your first one so its lasting longer. Call a doctor and they will ease your worries. Good Luck.

W3ll mine last up to 7 days.. N if urs went over that u should probably go with a doctor. BUt one of my friends had it twice a month now... N shes okay .. but u might want to tell ur mom or any close female adult who might know a little more

Um... maybe go to a doctor. Some girls do get it for that long but if it goes for over 10 days I would definately see a doctor.

It happens...it just means that your body is having a hard time clotting. Try to eat more iron.
