In the question "To get rid of Bush" I read some very disturbing things including the suggestion we set him on fire. I am a right winger but I could never support the assassination of the president (even if someone I don't like was elected) Sounds like hyprocacy to me.

Hey brownstain You got a couple of things wrong. First of all I was not referrignt to the asker of the question I was referring to the person who was suggesting that George Bush be light on fire. Secondly did you read the response to the question that you cited? It basically amounted to me calling him Hitler.

Some of your answers really disturb me. I also failed to mention that suggesting the killing of a president is a federal crime even if you are kidding.

Yes they are when it comes to rogue nations ruled by dictator thugs. See they are scared to death of little dictators and find appeasing them (at any cost to the national security) is their highest priority. They will bend over and grab the ankles for dictators but fight to the death with a conservative. They are so blinded with hate and rage for Dubya that they have become very irrational and cannot be trusted with the security of this country. They have never been peaceful - just look at the groups that share a common thread - Greenpeace, PETA, & ELF. All of these are radical peaceful left organizations that destroy personal & gov't property to make a point that no one really cares about.

It is difficult to define liberal or conservative in real terms. Most of the descriptions can be boiled down to democrat or republican. The average person is somewhere in the middle.
There is no link to liberals and peace (if you are referring to leftist, see Latin America). I'm not sure any sane person desires to set anyone on fire.

Liberals are about peace....but if it takes drastic steps to get to peace...and there is no other alternative.....many things have been tried but people don't listen....I'm surprised someone hasn't made an attempt already.....I suppose patience is one way....wait and see.....unless the president does something truly stupid, then some groups of people might start standing up and speaking their minds.
Ironic....I know.

Ethan....please.....that was written by a child who knows not what she writes.
Pick on someone your own size, will 'ya?
Here's somethin' for 'ya.....
Why is everyone so opposed to shooting the liberals?
Why doesnt anybody think that we should assassinate those who have incorrect thinking?
That was written by a conservative just a while ago.
Talk about disturbing!

I've read the same things......it is very hypocritical. Of course anyone who believes in abortion could never be about peace and non-violence anyways.

just because they want to "get rid" of the president... it doesn't make them a liberal...
that's the painfully obvious flaw in your argument
why do conservatives think that everyone that doesn't think like they do are liberals? I wish there were that many liberals...

Unfortunately, we do have some screwballs on this side. And yes, that is very hypocritical of people to say things like that.
