Well I don't know if you would call it inspiration but the movie Click that just came out with Adam Sandler really woke me up and realized that time is precious and life is short. We have to make each day count cause you never get it back.
If you haven't seen this movie, you need to. Not only is it halarious (I love Adam!) but it's got a serious side to it with a wonderful message!

Yes.
Defending Your Life. Directed, written by & starring Albert Brooks.
I always thought something very similar growing up, so this movie hit home pretty hard.
If you haven't seen it, it's basically about a guy around 40 years old, with only moderate success in life dies suddenly, but instead of going to heaven he learns that people go to "Judgement City" first. They are judged on their lives. Looking back at specifc days of your life to see if you have overcome "fear". The one thing that can hold you back, and from entering heaven. If you haven't over come fear you need to go back to Earth and try again.
Whenever I'm faced with a fear based decision I think about this film. It's very easy to identify with his character, and the movie is a joy to watch.

Yes. Star Wars, it inspired me to become a Jedi. Only joking. I really don't think a movie has inspired me much....Wait!!! Of course. I thought of one. Spirited Away, a Disney movie, by one of Japan's best writers/cartoonists, Hiyao Miyazaki. I know I spelled his first name wrong, but heck it's hard to remember. It inspired me to do what I can with what I got, and always do the right thing even if it doesn't reward you at the end of the day. Also don't run afoul of spirits.

Many action picture are merely undemanding leisure, yet some video clips have inspired me. They make me wanna be nicer, be a extra acceptable human being, to attempt harder and so on. that is in ordinary words about a million in a one hundred that are inspiring so it isn't as frequently as one may imagine.

Yes. Napoleon Dynamite. I know it's corny, but I'm a nerd and it felt good that that was one less plastic prom story or about the most popular girl in school getting a date or that everything was hunky dory.

The movie Ghost inspired me to be "good" so that when I die, those scary little shadow people don't come drag my butt off to hell!
