If your employer has a 401(k) with a matching contribution, contribute up to the point where there is no longer matching. For instance, some companies offer $1.00 matching for every dollar contributed by the employee, up to $7,500. Your best investment would be to contribute the full $7,500, thus effectively doubling your investment within a year-a great return, simple and relatively low risk.
