Okay.

One of equations for straight line is y=mx+b where m is the slope and b is the intercept.

If you do not believe me then set x=0 and y Will be equal to b.
also y=mx+b is a family of parallel curves where be is any number including 0. So let us use b=0 and we have
y=mx so m the slope is m=y/x. well it is also m=delta y/ delta x but for a straight line m=y/x works well.
so we have

the Y intercept is 24
the slope is 4
