I'm looking for something that can calculate large numbers in the 100-300 digit range.

I've personally never come across the problem, but perhaps Maxima or Octave is something like what you're looking for? I've linked them below.

Your question is incomplete. Do you mean hundred digits in resolution? Or magnitude? Furthermore, what are you computing? There are only ~10^80 atoms in the known universe.

With double precision in C, the largest you can attain is:
±1.7976931348623157×10^308

So, do it in octave (GPL ware) like mentioned above, which is fairly matlab compliant. Or, just write a script. There is a extended double precision standard (79 bits), but I don't know how easy it is to use.
