i know it sucks in all matter including light but what do u think happens when matter actually touches the singularity?

it seems to me that the impression that black holes have some sort of ability to "suck" in matter is an inaccurate description of what happens. black holes are regions of spacetime from which nothing can escape. black holes have normal gravitational attraction for their masses, but the volume of spacetime defined by the event horizon is so small that matter can get much closer to the center of mass than it would otherwise. also, singularities are impossible. they can't form. this is the original 1916 version of a black hole. because of gravitational effects at the event horizon, time, as seen by those far away, appears to get increasingly slower. this is time dilation. there are other effects also.

scientists think that ther is no real way to tell. it is thought that at the singularity all the laws of science break down because of the singularity. the gravity is so great that the curvature of space-time is infinite, in effect ripping the very fabric of space-time. who knows what comes of this

My astronomy professor in college told us that a black hole is so dense that it sucks in everything around it, including light. That's why it's black. Absolutely nothing can survive in a black hole.
