I wonder if the "others" were part of the DHARMA initiative and either they went coo-coo or they are still conducting other experiments.
I still want to know -in season 1- what pulled the pilot out of the plane? The French woman explained that the loud noise and rustlling in the jungle was supposedly and alarm system. IS IT? Is she or was she part of the experiments?
Also, I can't understand why the lawyer in Australia MADE Claire get on THAT particular plane.
Did it really crash because of Desmond not entering the numbers & pushing the button?
Do we now trust Walt? Didn't one of the others say that Walt had "joined them"?
Why was a pallet full of food dropped to the Island? Was that a year's supply for Desmond? What about all the notebooks that got sent up the tube in the other hatch?
Oh, now you have my head spinning with things I don't know and can't understand!!!!!!!

Beats me.
Probably the writers are experiencing a "block" or "wall" or just simply bored with the show themselves!
