I am in the same position only I have income, go and see a solicitor you will be eligible for help with legal costs
My husband wants to wait the two years with me this is fine until I want to move on. Use this to your advantage you make the decisions have the security of being married until you do not need it. Wish you the best for the future hope you get all that you deserve

From the sound of the question, you want a divorce but your ex doesn't.... then you go on to say what if he doesn't support you? I think you are a bit confused at the moment! Try thinking back to before you met him, you managed to support yourself then, didn't you? If so you can do so again! Time to see a lawyer but in all honesty if you don't have children together, that you would be raising and therefore unable to work, I think it's highly unlikely that any court would make an order that he supports you financially.

See a solicitor and quickly, they will give you the best advice and try and secure some interim support for you. if you are on very low income, or their will be some value realised theough the sale of the joint property, you will probably be able to get legal aid to help you.

He is hedging his bets hun- if the new trash he picks up doesnt do it for him, he wants to be able to crawl back to you and tell you how sorry he is and he wont do it again, and all that crap. See a lawyer and get his sorted out.

maybe he doesnt want a divorce cause the title "divorced" is hard enough, being divorced would bring back so many unwanted memories and unpleseant surprises.
