Ok I have never known the answer to this question...How many licks does it take to get to the tootsie roll center of a tootsie pop? Seriously I'm sure someone tried it and knows the real answer. I tried it once when I was little but my tongue got too tired!

I actually did that and it took me 3,4194 licks to get to the center of a Tootsie Pop.

the official website says that its impossible to answer that question because everyones saliva and licking techniques are different but they have estimated anywhere between 600 and 1000

Some people did it a while ago, I think it's around two hundred fifty to three hundred. I can eat any hard candies without chewing! LOL!

3 according to the commercial, I tried it too when I was younger..never could keep counting though, got tired of it and bite it off..lol
