I would say around $13,000.00 for a large wedding. But remember this is you and your significant others day---Plan a destination wedding. Just bring your parents or do it alone. Then it focuses on you two and not on impressing all your friends and parent's friends.

Depends on your budget. We were fortunate to have both families pay for most of our wedding, we contributed to a few things - such as the videographer, photographer, florist, and we made our own invitations. Everything else our families took care of. It probably came out to $20,000 when all said and done.

The above site says $30,000. I'll be da#N3d. My wedding cost about $4500.00 total. I asked people who attended to guess the cost, especially the elegant, classy, kinda bourgois people. They said $25,000, $20,000, $18,000, $30,000 et cetera. My dress came from ebay and it was gorgeous. Just what I wanted. My cousin is a pro-photographer and he gave me a discount ~ it cost $500.00. We have a gorgeous DVD set to music. My cake was made in a grocery bakery and was exactly what I wanted, expertly served, staged, delivered and oh so tasty! My bridesmaid's dresses were purchased from JCPenny. Their shoes came from DSW. You would have never known we got the reception hall, decorations and delicious elegant dinner for a total of $1000.00, overlooking the Marina through a wall of glass. If you shop around and have help, you can spend whatever your budget is. Best wishes to you! Email me for tips if you like. My Mom kept all our paperwork.
