i mean i'm a virgin & hope to remain so until i meet a person i really love.(maybe this is because of my culture,i'm asian)by the questions asked,& the answers given,i see that a lot of people prefer non-virgins.i mean doesn't it bother you that your husband/wife has slept with other people before?there are even 12 year olds who are non-virgins.isn't sex supposed to be an intimate act between two people who are very much in love?just asking your opinion-cheers!

when you lose your virgnity, you lose face and inocents. Many people regret the choices they made, and it doesn't matter because once its gone, it gone. You should wait until you are an adult. I am still a virgin, and its great to be able to look myself in the mirror, see an inocent girl, and say" good job. You have resisted the pressure to give away something so precious that so many can never get back." Its so rewarding, and not to mention safe. My doctor took my mom out of the room, and asked me if I had ever had sex when I had stomach problems. For him to hear me say no, I am a teenager who has never had sex , was a suprise. He had so much more respect for me, knowing that I was still a girl.

The truth is, americans are making it seem like its no big deal. You'll see when they start having scholarships just for those that are still virgins, it says something. Its hard to hear silence scream at you when all you do is cover it up.

The funny thing is when you are a virgin it seems like everyone else isn't, but as soon as you make that plunge and cross into the "non-virgin" realm, suddenly everyone you meet still has their virginity intact. I always believed I would be a virgin until I was married. Actually, more than believed, I was completely adamant about it. However, one fateful night with the boyfriend I told myself I loved and a 12-pack of Heiniken, the 19 years of adamancy were obliterated with one night of "passion." I don't believe in regret, mostly because it doesn't do to dwell on changing the past, I believe in learning from mistakes and moving into the future. But if there is one part of my life I regret, it was that night. I guess now I am just holding out hope that someone out there will someday love me as I always meant myself to be, not as one night of alcohol, false love, and stupidity made me.

Sex is supposed to wait until marraige. It says so in the Bible and if you don't believe me then I will show you. Sex is a gift given from God for 2 people who share the bond of marraige and will spend the rest of their lives together. It is not meant to be wasted on one night stands and just any person. It is really special to wait for that one special person and know that your partner has waited also just for you. That is my opinion. :]

yea I didn't wait....but I don't really regret it either, I know that me and my fiance now are clean and we both trust each other very much and I don't really have any worries! We can show each other how much we love each other in more ways than just having sex. We respect and take care of each other and again, we trust each other, which is what really matters in a relationship.

There'e no big deal about it
This is actually the way it should be : ppl staying virgin until they marry
Sense of decency should mean something though it doesn"t anymore

i dont see what the big deal is, the only explanation i can figure is that they have experience in that area. besides that, id rather be with a virgin, cuz once youve had that special moment together, its something no one can ever take from you.
