5'7" is good for your age. Route running is more important than 40 times but you do want to get that down. Practice in your backyard or where ever. Know every route your team runs and watch film of Jerry Rice and Marvin Harrison. I know what I am about to say sounds simple but do not drop balls. You should be able to catch anything you can touch. You should learn to block because most high school teams are run oriented and receivers have to support the run.

no it isn't. When i was 17 i was alot short i was 5' 3". and i started as the wide receiver and safety. I was in a 5a school and i caught around 67-75 balls dropped 5-10 and had a new school records of 1750-1800 and 23 touchdowns and on the defensive side of the ball a had 93 tackles, 6.5 sacks, 11 int, 9 forced fumble, 5 fumbles recovered, and 5 defensive touchdowns. Helped my team win state. Me being on first team all-state and also second team all-nation. that means that you will be able to accomplish for more greater things if you work hard. so being short is not a problem. the only reason i am not in the nfl is because my freshmen year in college i dislocated my knee and broke my ankle when i caught the ball and a guy speared me and the other guy speared me for the other side. So if any one tells you; you are to short they are wrong.

You are not to short because I am playing football and I play wide receiver and I am only 5'4 so you'll probably make it because your fast and wide receivers have to be fast to out run the appoint

Height doesn't matter, speed does. I am 5'4 and I run my 40 in 4.9. The Head coach of the football team keeps asking me to tryout. But I just love soccer more.

not too short at all, dude, you're not even in high school yet. seems like you're fast enough to me as well. anywhere in the low 5's for a junior high kid is good. now just work on catching the ball and route running skills. that's all you gotta do. good luck.
