i think sometimes that i will. because some bands are finally getting it right. its not about money, but music and love for it. bands like shadows fall have great writing capabilites. they are amazing at their instruments. but then again, some times i think not. cuz we live in a society full of idiots. but that doesnt mean that metalheads cant enjoy their music. its all about music. but mtv is all about profit.

I don't know if metal will every be as big as it used to be - I do hope that it will come back. I've noticed that there are alot more movies/videos/books depicting the 80's (ie, the soundtrack of Moulin Rouge), and it just gives people a sense of nostalgia. As long as we're there to suppport our favorite bands they'll continue to be around.

Move outside of america and in countries where music is music still. Spinefarm, Spikefarm (century media a bit)...you have to work your *** off to get into those labels, and they're amidst some of the best. They don't make you rich, and certainly not the popular lad right away. You work and work because you are ready to show what's within, using the art that is metal.

Every music phase has it's day. Metal reached a peak in the 1980's. Now it will evolve into something else. That's what music does, it constantly changes and evolves.

Maybe if they remaster and re-release REAL metal, the kids will put down their new music and will gravitate towards the good stuff.
