Apart from Kazza and limewire, what are the best FREE music download sites, preferably where I can download the whole album and not have to search song by song? I'm not worried about the legal stuff.

Hey andsoitgoes, illegality does not deny existence. Try soulseeker dude, or direct connect with limewire. The best way would be to find a trusted source (of questionable existence) and hook up direct.

Also, on filesharing systems the quality of each song is oftentimes usually compromised because it's copied or shared (Notice that sometimes a song skips, is corrupted, etc.). What's worse, you can get nasty computer viruses and spyware from these shared files!
There are legal ways of getting music that don't cost a lot either. I subscribe to Yahoo Music Unlimited and it's awesome (it only costs about $5/month)! I have access to probably a million legal, great quality music. Check that out, along with the website above.
Personally, I like to support the artists that I like so that they can further their career. I wouldn't want to steal their music that they've put time and effort into.

Downloading copyright music is highly illegal. If you want to download shareware music then use LIMEWIRE.
