Yes. He should either resign or be sacked.

He created unelected regional assemblies and made them into limited companies. All this was done without a referendum, and regardless of North East England's "no" vote, the other assemblies have gone ahead too. They're being run by lots of nobodies at the taxpayer's expense.

That he prides himself on being open and honest, and has the backing of Blair, means nothing.

He certainly should go.

I heard him being interviewed this morning on the Radio and he was asked if he had any other affairs than the one we all know about. He wouldn't answer the question!

Politician or not surely you answer that question!

So how long now until the Newspapers pick up on that and find out the details!

He's an embarrassment to the country.

Judgement should only be made against the performance during his service in government in terms of improvements in the well being of society.
I think we are becoming an idiot society and focusing on less important things, rather than the big issues, like: poverty, environment and the way the international terrorism has being handle.

Yes. He was not open and honest with his wife was he? He is one of the few MP's not to come from a classy background, he actually did a real job! The Merchant navy is not an easy option.
He is drunk with arrogance and power.

He should have gone a long time ago...if you or me were filmed punching some one we would be locked up for a long time...
he's a big bully boy who has used the tax payers of this country for too long, it's time he went.
God help this country if he take over as prime PM.
