Me! The wonderful world of answering phones. Gotta love being a receptionist, people think its easy because all you have to do is answer the phone all day. But the problem is that you can't answer it if it doesn't ring! So its really not a job of ease as much as a job of boredom! Thank goodness for Yahoo Answers, or I might shrink into non-existence from the sheer mindlessness of it all. Oh there's the phone...

I'm at work.

I'm a computer programmer, and I'm in a perpetual "wait" mode - waiting on someone else to complete THEIR part of the task so I can continue with mine, and it's VERY frustrating!

And the very strange thing about it? Nobody cares that I'm doing this, as long as I complete MY part of the task in a timely manner when I eventually receive the rest of the "pieces".

I think my job description includes the phrase,"...in addition to..." which is their loophole to have me do whatever they want. I'm sure that loophole goes the other way too.
