Okay, so you're guilty about jerking off? Is that right? Or is it that you were cursed with a conscience is all? You sound a little young given the question and all, but I won't patronize you...promise. Masturbation is completely norm...well, actually, it's not normal---it's weird; but it's normal in that it is weird. (Just think: all world is populated with weirdos). If you've found Yahoo! Answers, then you most certainly do not need a sex talk (I'm sure there are many, many websites before this one that could help you with that). Most guys and some girls experiment with masturbation before age 13. It's crazy, right? It's generally a private act wherein one can fully explore the sensation of sex. Oftentimes, early jerkers feel really dirty about what they've just "come" to do, but this feeling usually subsides after a few years of hardcore pornography, which BTW I do not endorse! If you're a chick, which you could be (because most guys I know wouldn't care nearly so much), a talking to with your Mom might not be so bad a thing. Afterall, she's been WAY farther than where you are now (she did have to conceive you, après tout). Maybe you'll get a sex talk, some condoms, and a nice hug. That usually works. If you're a dude: God Bless your heart! What a conscience you have! If you're that guilty, read a Bible and refrain from sexual masturbation (as opposed to what, right?) altogether. Take up a hobby like football. BTW (almost ALL guys do it at least once, unless you're like really NOT weird). For you, Dad might be a good consult. However, if your Dad is anything like MY dad, you may want to just completely bypass that situation altogether. In this case....watch Talk Sex with Sue Johanson Sunday nights on Oxygen 11pm EST/PAC. If you don't have cable. Pray for guidance because you only get hornier with age.

Dude, when I was a kid I got caught a couple of times. I know, I know it is embarrasing but life continues, and BTW don't be such a girl you don't have to tell you mother about that it's personal even tough you are a kid. If you want to talk to somebody talk to papa he understands because he is a man like you, or an uncle. Enjoy and be careful with nosy people. It's you ding dong not your mother's

Geez, how old are u? Why do u need to tell ur mum that? Why were u almost caught? Were u doing it in her bedroom?
Just try to be discreet, Try locking ur room door..or doing it in the bathroom or when noone is home.
Am pretty sure, even ur mum doesnt want to know about that...she definitely doesnt want to walk in on u at it either.

No, you dont have to tell her. Its none of her business. It is nice tho if you have such a good relationship with her that you'd consider telling her. It can be a good thing to talk to her about sexuality though, she might give you some nice inputs?!
But mom is not a friend. She is mom.

Well if she almost caught u its probably because she already knows u do it...but me personally, hell no i wouldn't tell her...but if you want her to know or if you think its right than maybe u should its all up to you and how u feel about Ur mom and ya'll relationship together

no you dont need to tell any one thats your personnal life, but theres is always a but if its effecting your thinking get your dads help.
or if you are finding you prefer it to a normal sex relation better see a counceller , you may be a shy akward boy and shie away from girls or you may have a complex, so talk to a buddie ,
preferablly do it in a shower so mom wont catch you again
