I had a miscarriage on July 3. I barely found out I was pregnant before that, the father has been out of town and doesn't know (he will be back next week) but I feel I should tell him. What is the best way to do this.

Of corse you should tell him. That was his child. It was a human life. It will not be easy to tell him. There is no magic way. It also depends on what kind of person he is and depends on your relationship together. Just sit him down and tell him, preferrably not over the phone. If you don't, it'll be on your mind forever.

I am very sorry for your loss. I too have had a miscarriage. If you are in a relationship with the father, then you should tell him. I think you should be totally honest with him even if you two are not in a relationship. Just tell him calmly in person. I know it is heartbreaking, but you two created a child together, and though this happened, he does have the right to know. I know it will be hard, but you have to be brave.

Do tell him. I know what it feels like ive been there. Its gonna be hard but in the long one you wont be living a secrete. Sit him down with a cup of tea are sumting and tell him straight out. He is going to be shocked upset and maybe angry u didnt tell him over the phone but just be there for him and in turn he can be there for you. You need support too dont forget that. hope everything works out for you. Good Luck :)

If he knew you were pregnant before he left, you must tell him.
The best way to tell him is after you have welcomed him back from his trip out of town and at a time when he seems calmly focused on you. State plainly, what happened.

Just be honest and don't put it off for too long. The more time goes by without telling him the harder it will be. Tell him the truth so that you can begin to help each other cope.

I am very sorry for your loss.

Be honest. And make sure he knows everything that happened. Not knowing is worse the knowing sometimes.Make sure its at a time when everyone is calm.Just sit him down and tell him that you have something to tell him.He should understand.

Don't give up. I had an early miscarriage, once, too, and my doctors told me that it happens quite often. So, just try to be strong with your hubby, cry if you want to , and then try-try again!!!!

Sit him down and tell him. Tell him that there was nothing you could do to stop it that these things just happen sometimes with no explaination.

Depends on how emotional you'll get when you tell him and what you think his reaction is. Since there's nothing that can be done about it now, hopefully he'll be comforting and understanding.

Just pick a calm moment and tell him. Honesty is always the best policy.
