Yes. Leave it dormant.
Do not sign in, or use its services for 30 days and your emails will all be deleted, as well as your contacts, and your calender.
Leave it for 60 days and your username and signin will be completely removed.
If you have a premium service, you may have to wait for up to one year after canceling the subscription for it to delete. You may also contact MSN regarding your problem.

You can't just abandone it and eventually it will be deleted.
