Yes. Why, are you? And the correct term is "one of Jehovah's Witnesses." By the way, we are Christians, since the word "Christian" means a follower of Christ. We are the only ones that follow Jesus' command found at Matt. 28:19, 20, "Go therefore and make disciples of people of all the nations, baptizing in the name of the father, son, and holy spirit, teaching them to do all that I have commanded . . ."
By the way, we do not "sell" the Watchtower magazine, it is free of charge. All of our work is done on a voluntary donation basis.
Our lives are dedicated to worshipping Jehovah God, which should be "normal." But many choose to ignore him in favor of pursuit of personal pleasures. This was foretold as a sign of the last days at 2 Tim. 3:1-5 " . . .men will be lovers of pleasures rather than lovers of God, having a form of godly devotion but proving false to its power . . ."
In response to Urbancoyote's remark, we do not "worship catastrophe," we believe what the Bible says about God's promise to rid the earth of wickedness and bring it back to what He originally purposed it to be, a world full of perfect, peaceful people who love God and each other.
And for the record, God views blood as precious. In fact, he told the Israelites not to ingest blood in any way or they would be put to death. Paul told early Christians not to eat blood from meat not bled properly, so why should we take it in through our veins? Besides, it is being proven medically that bloodless surgery is actually much easier and more beneficial for the patient, since most often the patient dies from complications due to blood transfusions. The body rejects this foreign object and the patient dies, or the blood was not screened properly and the patient ends up contracting HIV or some other blood-borne disease. In any case, we follow God's commandment to abstain from blood.

Yes. I have witnessed Jehovah Jireh, Jehova Rapha, Jehova Shalom, Jehova Nissi, etc. But those guys that sell the Watchtower magazine, I do not associate with those people. They are not really Jehovas witnesses.

No. I am agnostic. The only set of "organized" beliefs the I think hold any credence are those of the Unitarian Universalists. I also believe that those who have the ability to do right, have the responsibility to do right. Under any creed the sentiment does not change that drastically.
Religion has become like soccer in the world today. People believe, fervently, that theirs is the team that will and should win at any cost. It is a bit to divided and not enough people are seeing the linking threads between the religions.

It's true...Jehovah's Witnesses do have the truth. It's alll right there in the scriptures things that we should all be doing and things that we shouldn't be doing and they follow the scriptures. Only they come to my door to preach the way Jesus did. They talk about God's Kingdom and what that Kingdom will bring in the future. If people don't want to live forever with a perfect mind and body on a perfect Earth where there will be no more sickness and death, then they just don't need to listen. Just stop being mean to them (this is for others who are mean to them) because they are not mean to others. They will not stop preaching just like Jesus, he did it until his death.

I believe that Jehovah's Witnesses teach the Truth directly and only from scriptures. They use God's name Jehovah unlike others who want to avoid it or feel embaressment but Jehovah's Witnesses use God's name, Jehovah, with pride! They don't teach the "mystery" of the trinity but the revealed truth that God wants us to know about him. They preach God's coming kingdom on earth which no other religion will. They are respected by many in the community for being truely sincere and avid christians daily and not just on Sundays or christmas. They are prepared to even die for the namesake of Jesus Christ and to obey God as ruler rather then men. They refuse to get involved in political affairs and wars that most churches indulge in. They stand up for their beliefs and refuse to buckle even under the mockery of the nations they stand strong because of the words in Matthew 24:9. They read and study the bible continually daily and have great knowledge of the scriptures. They can never be stumped with the Truth as it comes from the bible which is irrefutable and stand to scrutiny. Governments and even Hitler tried to erradicate them but instead they grew more and as churches are finding it hard to retain their congregations, Jehovah Witnesses are flourishing and at large conventions at public venues many people who are not Witnesses are amazed, awed and refreshed of their christian obedient conduct at all times. They receive much praise by the public and are welcomed to return again as I have witnessed with my own eyes.
I am not a Jehovah's Witness but I am finding more and more reasons why I should become one of them. I need to put on the new personality of being a true christian.

No, I'm not one of Jehovah's Witnesses, but I know some who are and what's wrong with that? Apparently you aren't because you couldn't spell God's name correctly. I also know Catholics, Protestants, Methodists, Baptists, etc etc....to each his own.
Myself, I don't like organized religion. I believe in good versus evil, so I started the Society of New Reasoning for those confused by too many religious documents, instead of the basic good vs. evil aspect.
For above - they allow medical intervention just not whole blood transfusions, blood substitutes are still ok - get your facts straight.

No. I don't worship catastrophe. I think reason is a necessary component of Christianity. I think hell is here no earth and superstitious, bigotted people live there, including 144,000 Jehovah's Witnesses, who are really pretty much "Moloch's Witnesses."

Why? Do you have the lights cut off and the tv cut down? Are you hiding under the window peeking out through the blinds? I don't remember knocking at your door.
