If your opinion has support of others, then it is reason. However if you are tangential to the popular and accepted ideas, you may not be so reasonable. Reason means the application of logic to a problem or a dilemma, however you may have facts that others do not and therefore your logic may be perfect and theirs defective. It becomes philosophical as there are truths and facts and they are not the same. If your reasoning is based on truth, then it is only the way you perceive something, not necessarily correct. Facts are incontrovertible proofs and can be replicated. History is a good example; it changes and depends on who writes the book and his concept of the events but is not always a reflection of the facts, just the author's concept of them...a truth.

Given that you must agree with what you say it falls to reason that ‘to you’ you are always the voice of reason. However, one can not state the he/she is the voice of reason, to do so contradicts what was stated, akin to saying “I’m innocent” (indicating lack of maliciousness) because the very fact of being aware of one’s innocense would mean that person no longer has it.
