So I'm talking about the old school twilight zones, the black and white ones where everyone smokes in hospitals and goes heavy on the black eyeliner. So What I want to know is what was your favorite episode and why. I have a tie, The one where beauty was actually monstrosticty, and the creature on the wing (which paved the way for mulitple variations) So let me know what you think, if you dont know the actual title thats fine just give a reference and I'm sure I'll know what you are talking about.

I love the old Twilight Zones. It's a pretty good show, even for right now. It holds up pretty well, except for some special effects but that's okay. I think my favorite one has to be one you said, where beauty in another world is considered ugly, and the episode where aliens supposedly want to help our race, they even have a book called Serving Man, but in fact they want to eat us, Serving Man is a cookbook. Pretty creepy. But I like the camera angles in the beauty episode where you couldn't see the faces of anybody which got annoying but eventually you understood why they did that and the ironies they say about beauty being ugly. they say this woman is hideous when in fact she's gorgeous! And in the episode of the cannibal aliens, you have to watch the similes at the beginning ," They ran in fright like a flock of cattle," because that plays into the rub of us being served as dinner like beef on a plate and the miscommunication of the words Serving Man. Twilight Zone is pretty cool. I watch it sometimes at night on the Sci-Fi channel.

I love that show. Did you catch the marathon this week? My favorites are usually the time travel ones. I also liked one that I saw recently where a Nazi soldier returned to the concentration camp where he had been the captain many years ago and the ghosts there put him on trial and stuff. But one of my favorites would have to be the one with William Shatner entitled "Nightmare at 20,000 Feet." The Simpsons has parodied so many episodes of the Twilight Zone in their Halloween specials haha.

It's hard to pick just one because there were so many good ones, but a few stand out. "It's a Good Life" starring Billy Mumy was one of my all-time favorites. The one with Burgess Meredith as a condemned political prisoner sharing his last moments with a government official was great too.

I liked the one with the actress Agnes Moorhead that was fighting off the small martians that landed ontop of her roof. There are so many good ones to really choose.
