If you deleted it from the recycle bin, then you will need to have some advanced DOS knowledge to get it back.
Search Google/Yahoo for the DOS command RECOVER or UNDELETE. You need to know the exact path of the file to recover it. Files are never always gone until you overpass the file.

Yes, you could always click on "Trash", and if it hasn't been too long since you deleted it, the message and picture could still be there.

Look into the trash area of your email account.
