Because we were taught that only bad girls talk openly about sex. We were also taught that a good man will not commit or marry a bad girl. Some girls are made to feel dirty if they talk about sex. They are afraid it will make them look too easy. However, times are changing and woman are becoming more open with thier feelings. Just think about High School. If a guy talked about or had sex...he was a stud. If a girl did either... she was a *****.

In fact everything depends upon the way and use of words and phrases in the coversation. Normally when girls talk to the boys regarding sex, the fundamental attraction towards opposite sex creates a psychological impression which reflects shyness. One more prominent feature is usually gifted by the Almighty that SHE has proud to be a MOTHER hence she has the necessry components for the generation of a child which neither the males have got nor have to hide.

It is quite possible that where you are trying to initiate that conversation, it may have been the misfortune (for them) for you to run into a group of decent, clean minded, chaste, "ladies" that don't think that it is appropriate to speak about sex in the manner you are trying to, and are rightfully offended by your attempt.
I'm sure that you won't have to look too far to find "women" to accomodate you. Matter of fact, some of them may have answered your question.

Depends on who you're talking too. You walk up to a girl in a bar and if you're clearly trying to pick her up by talking about sex - probably not a good idea.
But if you're talking about a girl you've been dating for a long time that doesn't have a history of sexual abuse, then she's probably just not interested in having sex with you.
Believe me, any girl who's been with a guy long enough who wants to have sex with him... WILL TALK ABOUT IT!

The ones who have never done it before are the shy ones. It is just probably embarassment that they haven't done it yet. Those who have done it and are still shy just haven't done it enough yet to break loose.
Maturity plays a big role in this too.

From reading these forums, and other web sites I belong to, I don't find that women are shy about talking about sex at all...
Maybe "girls" are because they are young, and don't (or shouldn't) know all that much about it yet...at least not from experience...

Sex SHOULD be private---THAT IS WHY! Why should ANYONE talk about sex? Either they are not doing it, or they don't know how. Otherwise, there would be NO NEED to talk about it. It is private. Sex is something that should be kept just between two people who are doing it.

Girls usually are yes, women generally are not. If you are pushing the subject then remember she is still young, as you may be too. It will change in time, so don't worry too much about it.
