Yes, it will release in 2008, and there are only 4 confirmed actors for it. Other than that, nothing. It's in pre-production.

It is currently in the pre-production stages, with Christopher Nolan directing and his brother Jonathan writing the screenplay. The main actors are signed on (Bale, Caine, Freeman, and Oldman) but there is a question around who will play Joker. Currently, Robin Williams has shown interest in donning the persona.

It is currently in the very early stages of being made, but it is being made. I think it is set for a tentative release in 2008. I can't wait by the way, Batman Begins was simply awesome.
