Well it probably has no effect on you IF you're a girl, lol. For guys I think, it's a very visual thing especially, stiletto heels. THAT'S sexy. Also I feel high heels shift your weight therefore it affects a woman's posture.
So the lady in question needs to arch her back more. However if the lady does not know how to carry herself well i.e. not having good posture or walks like a duck the "illusion" is a mess!

It makes our legs look long and sexy. Also, some men have a s e x fetish and want you to do it with your high heels on!

It makes someone stand up straighter, and their body look better if they can walk properly in them. Not all men like high heels on women.

They make women's legs look skinnier and more defined. A women looks classier when wearing them and makes men feel important to see that a woman goes through the discomfort just to look nice for them.
