Men think that we will not be able to handle playing with the "big boys" I am all for female rights and I can't stand someone who thinks we should all be treated different.

im all about female rights....but you have to keep in mind that for almost every male sport, theres also the women's version. women may be able to handle it, but even as a woman, i dont think it would be fair.
anatomically speaking, men have more muscle then women and are built differently.

First of all your statement "We are just as strong if not stronger", tells me your desire to push a cause completely out weighs your wanting a correct answer. Look around, can you honestly say women are just as strong as men. Indeed, there may be a small percentage of women that on average are just as strong as the average man, but that would be the exception to the rule, and not the main. Can you honestly say you know enough women to fill the ranks of a professional football team, and go up against a team of men? I personally doubt it. Sports like golf, where non contact skills play the bigger part are starting to open to women, but even there not many women can compete with the men. I'm sure it would be the most watched sports event in recent history, if an all female football team went up against an all male team. Until evolution makes the female physically as strong as a male, women will not be able to compete heads up with men.

In most sports, strength is an overwhelming neccessity for success. The top male athletes ARE bigger, faster and stronger than the top female athletes. There would not be much of a competition if the sexes competed against each other in most sports.

when is the last time that you went to a women's baseball game, or hockey game, or boxing match?? They already do have these sports for women...the problem is that no one wants to watch or support them because they are boring.
