ZIZOU : I hope you are not going to say Barthez cause he could be the worse. He is just lucky to have a solid defense against him and only a few shots coming through. Because when a shot comes through he is shaky, wobbles every ball.
BUFFON is the best HANDS DOWN. He hasnt even let a goal in yet (not counting an own goal of course) and he has been outstanding.

1. Cech - who is by the way the best goalkeeper in the world at the moment.
2. Buffon - he looks really good because he has such a good defense protecting him.
3.Ricardo - never seen such a talented penalty saver.
4.Lehman - Great shot stopper and quite good at penalties as well,
5.Dida - Would be higher but makes quite a few mistakes
6.Casillas - didn't have a very good tournament but he is a very good goalkeeper

i would have to agree, buffon from italy and ricardo from portugal have been magnificent, carrying their teams this far. one that kind of flew under the radar though was joao ricardo from angola, considering the situation, his defense, and the teams he played(mexico, portugal, iran), only allowing 2 goals should be considered a victory for him. i was also impressed with kingston from ghana, he did give up a few more goals than others, but he made some unbelievable saves.

Buffon (Italy) is the best goalie of the tournament so far. Probably the weakest goalie is Berthez (France). There is every possibility that Berthez may let France down in the final. If Berthez plays well France will go through in RT.
