There is lots of stuff to do! It mostly depends on what you like.
Hot Springs is a historical town with many buildings dating back to the late 1800s. If history is 'your thing' you can spend hours here just going to the different buildings.
It is also a national park, with three state parks near by. You can hike, fish, water ski, swim, boat ride, or just relax. While Lake Catherine is the smallest of the parks, it's my personal favorite.
Bath house row - The Arlington is a must visit, even if you don't stay there.
Make sure you take a ride around in a duck (half car, half boat) or hop a ride on the Belle of Hot Springs.
Mountain Tower! Great view of the area.
For kids:
Magic Springs, local amusement park and Mid -America Science Museum are always a hit.
Like diamonds? About a hours drive away is the Crater of Diamonds State park. For a couple of dollars, you can dig and hunt all day. Best part you get to keep what you find.
You can also go to Coleman's mines and dig crystal! Even if you don't want to dig, you should stop by their store. Arkansas crystals are sold world over!
There is simply too much to write about, so I'm going to give you a couple of URLs that will give you more details

BooHoo's P.S. hit on some, here is some more about our state:
We are also the home to the Jacuzzi family, as in Jacuzzi hot tubs. A.B.F. & J.B. Hunt trucking companies and many world known companies.
Do the following names mean anything to you, .... Johnny Cash, Conway Twitty, Charlie Rich, Glen Campbell, Scottie Pippen, Sidney Moncrief, John Grisham, Mary Steenburgen, General MacArthur, Winthrop Rockefeller or President Clinton.
