I'm a teenager and it seems like less and less of my friends are virgins. And it's even my Christian friends, and that's against our religion to have sex before marrige! There is someone out there who is worth the wait. I wish people could see that.

because sex is good for one´s well being. Its simple, appart from being an instinct of reproduction, it makes one´s body produce endorphines, also known as the happyness hormons, they give you a satisfaction sensation. Just do it whenecver you feel ready to. And with somebody you care for, otherwise you will feel like you wasted your virginity for someone who does NOT deserve it. Greetings from Spain!!!!

Too many people believe what they see on TV , or in the movies, is the "norm". Then they feel they should act the same way. WAKE UP PEOPLE ! The producers go to the extreme to get you to watch it. More blood, more sex, more outrageous.
Use your brain when it come to making choices about drugs, sex, even operating a car. Don't do it because it's what your friends do, they may not be as smart as you.

dont feel obligated to be a christian. remember that is a choice and you are an individual who is capable of making your own decisions. SO ARE YOUR FRIENDS. i would say after your 18 when ever it feels right is an ok time. if you stick with this marriage thing you might want to marry too early like at the age of 21 just to have sex. I dont want to get married that early, do you?

Actually, I think rates of sexual activity are falling among teens. The problem is this: we are genetically programed to reproduce, and that is most acute in the teens when brain development dealing with concepts such as "consequences" are less developed. Accordingly, teens will be aggressive and make bad decisions.

It is were personal decision to have it or not to have it. Most of us decides to have it :). The hormons do not want to wait till the wedding but instead of the vaginal penetration one can masturbate, have oral sex, and wait with the vaginal sex till the wedding. I am not sure what the minister would say at my suggestion :)

Yeha I noticed that too. For me, I really could care less when I lose my virginity. It's just not a big deal in my eyes. When it happens, it happens.

Well good for you for standing by your convictions. I think the main problem is that parents today either don't have the time and/or the desire to keep track of their and kids and what (and in this case whom) they are doing.
