Least friendly: Louisville, KY (top place), Lawrenceburg, KY, Frankfort, KY, Lexington, KY, Corbin, KY (no manners!), Winchester, KY, Breezewood, PA, Clinton, NJ, Evansville, IN, the NJ entrance into the Lincoln Tunnel, New York City (but it didn't bother me much because I expected it when I got there.)

Michigan, by the way, gets a horrible rap from people. I've found the people from there to be surprisingly friendly, though; I've never had just an "awful" experience with a Michiganian; most of them have been very nice to me. OK, maybe Detroit ain't much, but other than that, it's nice.

Kentucky is a different kettle of worms: some of the nicest and meanest cities I've ever been to are there. If you go into the wrong town or the wrong part of a town at the wrong time, you might regret going. In KY I've found, ironically, that the cleaner and sometimes wealthier the town, the friendlier and happier the people are.

Paris France! They hate Americans and I really felt it when I was there.

I have not found any place in the US to be rude. I have even been to New York and found the people there to be very friendly.
I am from friendly old Texas. Maybe that's why I haven't found anywhere in the US to rude. I am just so dumb and friendly that people feel sorry for me and are friendly right back. HA!

Although this year Alice in Wonderland at Disney World was a total B**tch to me AND my children. She was too busy to stop and take a pic with my kids and yelled at me for stopping her to do it. I guess the Texas Charm doesn't work on the other side of the looking glass!

this couldn't have been an easier question: Puerto Rico!! Almost everyone on the island is rude, they don't care about others but themselves, and the most amazing part of it is that the Puertoricans say the same thing about other Puertoricans! In fact, just b4 i left the island (i lived there for 3 yrs) there was a movie coming out about pricans that moved to the US and they were given tickets back to pr to live and one of the ladies in the movies said "Why do you think i left pr in the first place, to go back to it?"

I'm not racist, in fact i'm prican, and i can assure u, i am in no rush to get back, as beautiful as the island is. It's the ppl!!

I love the Kentucky references. Being an Ohioan myself, most people around here make fun of Kentucky all the time. Anyway, I've ran into a lot of rudeness at all kinds of Frisch's restaurants. None in particular, it just seems like they only hire rude people there.

Disneyworld....at closing time. I was standing near the sidewalk, heels againts it. When.....I saw a long...wide stream of mothers all exiting at the same time. I mean tons, the sidewalk was covered as far as I could see. They came marching toward the exit, and ran over my feet,, not with just one set of wheels, but both the front and back. How rude.

Well I don't think a PLACE can be rude, but the people in them sure can. I like Bean's answer, go to where she lives, she won't be mean. There are plenty of rude people in Quebec, but I don't go there too often so it doesn't bother me.
I live in Ottawa, Canada, and we are all wonderful here, so come and visit - we'll be really nice to you.

High School is the rudest place I've ever been to.

It's full of disrespectful, snoby and ignorant teenagers and the teachers aren't exactly the best either.
