Keep calling child support and tell them you want a court date because your child is going without things and you want the father to pay.

Keep after child support, leave them a message once a week or so. They will get tired of hearing from you and hopefully help you out.
If need be you can go over your case workers head to her super. and inquire about the situation.
It does take a long time, I know exactly what you are going through, I even told child support where my ex was working. That did not help. I finally had to go over her head. My son is an adult now, and they just got around to make him start paying.
It is important for you kids to get the child support. I do wish you
the best, and will keep you in my prayers.
Also you may need to hire an attorney (not cheap) I know it is rough and may not be possible, but check into a local place with legal aide that will help you based on a sliding fee scale.

Contact the Child Support Enforcement Agency in your area. Call your local Department of Family and Children Services for the number. If theres not one Talk to a lawyer that handles cases like this for advice on what to do next.

If he is working, you just contact Child Support Services, this is a long process so be patient. Keep in contact with your case worker so that your file is not just sat aside gathering dust.
If he is not working, you will have a hearing and he will have to tell his side of the story on why he is not paying child support. They will make him look for a job by informing him to mail in a form indicating that he has been looking for a job and where monthly.
I hope he is working, works a lot better when they are.
Best of luck !

go to the office of the attorney general if there is no court order (its cheaper or dont cost anything) and they will order him to pay retroactive child support (past child support whether an order was filed or not). If there is already a court order, you will need to file a motion for enforcement (ask an attorney). It basically states that he has failed to comply with the previous order and asks that he be jailed, fined, and put on probation (note-just b/c it is a request doesn't mean a judge will grant it all, but he will order him to pay). If you need more info, email me. Im not an attorney but I work for one. I do know a little bit.

Go to your local district attorney. Not saying you do, but if you receive aid, the D'A's office is usually right on top of that. They have all kinds of programs that connect to other states. ie: Money collected there is sent here (no funds removed) this is called a reciprical collection. It goes both ways. It is probably faster if you're on aid but it still works and happens even if you're not on aid. You might also try to get a wage attachment, only problem there is he doesn't want to recognize his responsibilities and might quit his job just to not pay!!! Oh! Don't forget! It'll be your fault he "lost"his job!!! Whatever you do, chin up!!

it depends on who you are working with. dhs or the court system. it is so hard, it's like they just put it off forever and wait til' thousands of dollars are added up then go after him, usually it's like five years down the road!! i think you either need to keep pushing dhs to get on to it or go to the court house and ask a clerk what to do. in order to work through the court system, i think it will cost you some money, but it's worth it in the long run!!

Hon, I wish I could be the bearer of good news, but with all the dads who aren't paying child support (my ex being one of them....been almost two years, too) they've got their hands full. Be persistent. "The squeaky wheel gets the grease" as the saying goes.
