My bf dumped me for talking to a male friend. My friend is a lawyer and i'm a lawyer to be and just for askng my friend to clear sum law doubts for me, my bf got upset and shouted at me asking me why i cna't ask my lecturer and clear my doubt. I told my bf why was he so jealous and he had so many frens. My bf told me tht i can never have any guy as friends.I am studying in college and i can't see or talk to any males there coz of fear on mybf.Besides tht, once a friend of mine he met wth an accident and was admited in hosp, I cudnt even go and see him or visit or even a simple phone call, all coz my bf wud say i'm sleeping or havfin affiar with tht fren.till todate, i dont know why he has so low mentality and he mentally abuses me.Nowhe's dumbed me just coz i asked my fren to help me find sum cases.Shud i go back to my bf,cry, hurt and fall at his feet and ask him to get back to the r/ship like how i always usd to do when he mentally abuses me?

no i think u should go on with ur life! u dont need someone who abuses u in any way! u deserve to be happy & u cant be happy if ur getting mentally abused. it seems like ur bf is insecure & thats not good! he shouldnt keep you from ur friends if he really loves u he would know that u weren't cheating on him! he needs help or something. u deserve so much more than him so u just leave him for someone else and u go find someone who will accept you for u & not get jealous everytime he sees you with some guy. u dont need to live ur life walking on egg shells worrying about ur boyfriend breaking up with u just cause he may catch talking to a friend who just happens to be a guy! girl hes gone so now hes officially ur X-bf & he needs to stay that way!

This guy sounds like my X-husband. Wow, where to start. My ex was sleeping with the baby sitter. I found out from his next x-wife he has personality disorder. Honey I would find someone else and save yourself heartache, aggrevation and good friends. My x is now working on wife #4. Unless you want to be attached by a child to someone psychotic, run away, run away fast. It never gets better, It gets so much worse. Ever heard the expresssion, lay down with a man who is challenged and get a child that is challenged? I repeat Run Away.

leave this guy alone. HE is CRAZY. he is probably cheating on you and that is why he is so jealous. the longer you stay with him the worse it is going to get. there is no possible way you can be a lawyer and never interact with another man. that is ridiculous and HE is CRAZY for expecting that. let him go, find your self esteem and become the best lawyer in town. then you can help put away guys that are as CRAZY as your boyfriend. good luck.

You need to dump your BF. This problem you have is only gonna get worse. Your BF has two fears that are'nt gonna go away. One, is that you are gonna end up with someone that is interested in the same things that you are. Two, is that when you make more money than he does that you wont need him any more. So he trys to intimidate you to keep you. But as we all know, thats just gonna push you away. GOOD LUCK!

No way no how. You should thank god that he broke up with you because you obviously didn't have the strength to brake up with him. If you stay with this guy you will ruin your time in college. This is your time to socialize and make friends, not ignore people. Dont let his guy rule your world. You should call all your male friends and go out and have a good time.

Do not go back. It is not normal, although, unfortunately very common behavior. Mental abuse turns into physically abuse lots of times. You need to concentrate on your education and future. (Good luck on the Lawyer thing) Count your blessings and move on!

He has some serious insecurity issues if he doesn't allow you to talk to any guys... I'm sure he has female co-workers he has to talk to... I don't think you should get back w/ him... Honestly... I understand you care about him, but you'll see w/ time, you'll start to feel better because you don't have him constantly on your back about the things you do or who you talk to.
